Our Corporate, Social and Responsibility approach
At URSA, our CSR approach involves initiatives that go beyond profitability, focusing on positive contributions to society, the environment, and our stakeholders.
At URSA, our CSR approach is centered on promoting energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and advancing resource conservation through circularity. Our environmental strategy focuses on minimizing our impact with sustainable production practices, while significantly reducing waste sent to landfills. We are equally committed to our people, fostering a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment, offering fair wages, growth opportunities, and a culture of support. Additionally, we extend our responsibility to local communities, actively contributing to economic development and enhancing social well-being

At URSA & Etex, Safety is not only a priority, Safety is a value. Our goal is for everyone working in or by URSA to return safely back home to their families. Our Vision – Zero Injuries at the workplace.
To achieve this, we are working in three key workstreams focused on enhancing health and safety:
We aim for every URSA teammate to become a Safety Leader, where everyone with his/her experience and professionalism takes care of his/her teammates either on our premises, commuting to work or in an off-site working environment.
As a member of the Etex group, we actively contribute to the realization of our shared strategy. Our culture is all about teaming up, motivating, inspiring, and taking care of each other. We know that our success depends on our talented and diverse employee base. We are convinced that diversity of thinking helps us to deliver a strong and sustainable performance.
It is also essential for us that everyone feels part of the team. In this spirit, we are committed to equal opportunities and zero tolerance for discrimination.
We are dedicated to maintaining clear processes, accountability, and ethical business practices to build trust with stakeholders. The Etex Way is our code of conduct, serving as our guiding framework for how we operate. It emphasizes integrity in all aspects of our work—promoting sustainability, rejecting child labor, ensuring fairness for all, and contributing to the well-being of communities, among many other ethical commitments.
An ambitious target: reduce the intensity of our CO2 emissions by 35% compared to 2018 by 2030.
Circular economy is ingrained in our DNA, and at URSA we demonstrate this every day. We work with recycled materials to produce glass wool and XPS.
