Environment product declaration 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024
URSA has received an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) from the Institut für Bauen und Umwelt (IBU), the German association for sustainability certification of building products, for all our mineral wool products in Germany. An EPD is an independently verified and registered certificate that may be used by different countries to grade the environmental performance of a product. It is a Type III environmental label that communicates transparent and comparable information about the environmental impact of products during their life cycle in line with ISO 15804.
URSA has received a Declaración Ambiental de Productos de Construcción (DAPc), the Spanish EPD for construction, for all our mineral wool products in Spain, specifically URSA TERRA.
URSA has received a Fiche de Déclaration Environnementales et Sanitaires (FDES), the French EPD for construction, from INIES, the French national reference database of environmental and health declarations for products, for all our extruded polystyrene (XPS) and all our mineral wool products in France.
EUCEB is the European certification board for mineral wool products which stands for proven and reliable quality according to a precisely defined system of monitoring and controls.
Eurofins’s Indoor Air Comfort certification is an innovative tool for showing compliance with the EU’s strictest volatile organic compound (VOC) emission requirements. It is awarded on two levels: standard Indoor Air Comfort certification shows compliance with all compulsory specifications issued by the EU, while the higher Indoor Air Comfort GOLD certification shows additional compliance with the voluntary specifications issued by all relevant eco-labels and similar specifications in the EU. URSA has obtained the GOLD certification for its URSA PUREONE and URSA GEO products.
Due to URSA’s continuous commitment to environmental protection, URSA has been awarded the German Blauer Engel (Blue Angel) certification for its URSA PUREONE and URSA GEO products, recognizing our contribution to indoor air quality with these low-emission products.
The ICMQ Institute for certification and quality branding for construction products and services is a non-profit association that includes numerous trade associations from the entire Italian construction industry. ICMQ aims to be the Italian reference point for certification and inspection in the construction field. It operates in compliance with the international, European and Italian national standards that regulate the activities of certification bodies.
URSA has received an EPD from the Zag Zavod Za Gradbenistvo for all our mineral wool products in Slovenia.
